Mr. Cy-Creek,
What is it?
Mr. Cy-Creek is a pageant taking place in
December sponsored by the Silverado Drill Team. The purpose of the pageant is to crown Cy-Creek High
SchoolÕs very first Mr. Cy-Creek.
This is the guy that stands out from the crowd, the guy who enjoys
performing for his peers, the guy who can stand tall in a crown and truly say,
ŌI am Mr. Cy-Creek
, Your 2008-2009 Holiday Hunk!Ķ
The festivities will begin at
6:30 p.m., Thursday, December 18, in the school auditorium. We anticipate a full
house of excited supporters! The trees, lights, decorations, and entertainment
are sure to put everyone in the holiday spirit! It is an evening for all to enjoy with Cy-Creek students as
the stars!
Who can Participate?
Contestants: Any sophomore, junior, or senior male
in good standing can be a contestant.
ThatÕs easy!
All contestants must
have a sponsor. See the next
link. ThatÕs easy, too!
And of course, Participants
must meet school eligibility requirements as outlined in the Student Code of Conduct.
This includes passing grades in all classes during the grading period affected
and no discipline issues resulting in DMC or suspension.
How do I get a Sponsor?
Any club, class,
organization, group, or booster club affiliated with CyCreek High School may
sponsor a contestant. Can the same
group sponsor more than one contestant?
Yes they can!
So, talk to your friends,
your teachers, your clubs, and your classes. Get them to pitch in for your Entry Fee and serve as your
sponsor.
Does the sponsor have any responsibilities?
Sponsors provide moral support and guidance as you prepare for the
swimwear, formal wear, and talent competitions. They are your cheerleaders and number one fans!
What would I do in the Pageant?

their choice. Your talent can be
